Aesop Chermside

Aesop Chermside looks to the majestic sand dunes of the Arunta (Simpson) Desert—home of the Wangkanguru First Nations people—for its rich red palette and topography. Referencing ribbon dunes, a tiered ochre shelving structure invites visitors to meander and muse.

Near the entrance, a column wrapped in brushed stainless steel soars into the cavernous ceiling, recalling the grand scale and exuberance of 1970s hotel architecture and Queensland’s burgeoning nightlife scene. As one moves deeper into the store, the ceiling drops dramatically, creating an intimate red carapace. Velvet seating wraps around the column, encouraging rest and relaxation.

Two tucked-away personal basins allow for private and in-depth skincare consultations. Guided by our dexterous consultants, clients are able to apply products directly to their face and learn techniques to enhance their at-home experience.
